Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 AF IS USM

Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 AF IS USM

This lens was packaged with my 50D DSLR and it is a quite good lens. The autofocus is very fast and very precise. The downside of this lens is it's true, or rather 'equivelant', focal lengths on a camera such as the 50D because of the APS-C crop factor of 1.6x making it the equivelant of 45-213mm. However, other than that this lens produces images with brilliant detail and color with minimal chromatic abberations. I am very happy to own this lens because of its quality but also because it is compatible with the 35mm film bodies and full frame bodies such as the 1D and is, therefore, very much worth having if you've got the idea of upgrading to a full frame DSLR in the future such as myself.
