I've found this diffuser to be quite useful with wide-angle lenses as well as when a cealing or wall is not available for bounce. It does a lovely job of softening light by providing such a relatively large light source as well as spreading the light to illuminate other objects or people around the subject. I reccomend trying one because the results are excellent.
